About SSGDR
SSGDR is a 501c3 nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Tennessee.
SSGDR is owned and operated by a Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers.
We are foster-home based, with foster homes located in the Southeastern part of the United States.
Our Mission
Dedicated to saving and placing unwanted and neglected Great Danes and Dane mixes in permanent homes. We evaluate both each Dane and each potential family to ensure a proper placement for a forever outcome.
Our Goal
To be the voice for the voiceless and educate on the importance of spay/neuter, vaccinations, and preventatives.
We encourage people to be advocates and report any potential neglect or abuse.Contact us if you know a Dane in need.
Our Process
We hold our fosters to the same standards as our adopters. This process applies to both and can take up to 30 days to complete.

Our Fees
SSGDR does not profit from adoption fees. All proceeds are used for the care of our Great Danes. All adopted Danes are chipped, altered, and up to date on shots and preventatives.
Special needs cases are determined on a case-by-case basis.
